Morning Shadows is a fairly new music project that two former members of The Nothing have formed with a new drummer. Moving away from The Nothing, we're keeping the genre hopping unpredictability, but the new sound is less raucous, and more danceable.
Caput has brought his viola back from its resting place, and Pianist found a new keyboard with a greater variety of tones. Drummer contributes his jazz sensibilities to the beat.
We have a private party in a week and a half, and we are looking for additional shows for the summer. We're also looking forward to posting live videos of our shows to our Youtube channel, so keep an eye out for that!
So the fun tidbits about our adventures? Well, over the weekend, Pianist and Caput checked out some new bands in Detroit, namely, The Dirty Notion, Nadir Omowale, and 1592 at PJ's Lager House. Where have the reggae bands been hiding? It looks like we stumbled onto a well kept secret, which we'll happily whisper to you. You don't have to click your heels. Good music DOES live here. We'll share all our finds with you, as long as you promise to do the same. We always want to know where good music lives, so please contact us when you hear a band you love.
